An Ozark man has died following a car crash on Friday afternoon.

Dennis P. Prescott, 62, was fatally injured when his vehicle collided head-on with a Chevrolet Traverse driven by Daniel R. McWhorter, 39, of Ozark.

The crash happened at around 2:20 p.m. on Dale County 21 near Penny Point Road in Dale County, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division.

Prescott was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information is available as ALEA troopers continue to investigate.
