OWN’s ‘Heart & Hustle: Houston’ follows thriving sisterhood of Black women

The brand new reality series Heart & Hustle: Houston premieres on OWN Saturday, Aug. 2 at 9/8c.

Cord cutters hoping to add the latest OWN reality series to their watchlist can stream the series through Philo or DirecTV—both of which offer free trials to new subscribers.

What is Heart & Hustle: Houston about?

According to OWN, their latest reality series venture follows an incredible sisterhood of Black women thriving in the heart of Houston, Texas.

Throughout the show, viewers will follow these women as they continue to redefine what it means to be a boss, wife and mother while navigating entrepreneurial life and a labyrinth of unique daily challenges.

Despite appearing to have it all, they face insecurities and pressures to stay on top in a competitive town while maintaining a perfect image, but through it all, their unbreakable bond of sisterhood and support inspires them to rise above chaos, reminding them it’s okay to be perfectly imperfect.

Meet the Heart & Hustle: Houston sisterhood

Muneera Page (43): Page is a dedicated wife and mother of four daughters, and while juggling the beautiful chaos of running her family at home, Page is also continuing to thrive in her career. Though recognized as a highly skilled electrical engineer in the gas and oil industry for over two decades, Page has bravely turned her attention to content creation in recent years.

LeBrina Jackson (35): Jackson lets her passion and drive fuel her on the daily, making it seem easy to be an owner of the one the most elite spas in Houston. In addition to making waves as a successful businesswoman, Jackson finds happiness in raising her two children and spending time with her spouse.

La’Torria Lemon (36): Lemon first entered the world of PR fresh out of high school, and since then has gone on to establish a name for herself in different spaces throughout the industry. One of Lemon’s biggest accomplishments so far has been entering the entertainment space by launching her award-winning company Lemon-Lime Light Media.

Chloe Cook (44): Cook was known far and wide around the Houston area as one of the best event planners in Texas, but following her husband’s death, Cook has since taken a step back from her thriving business to focus more on her children. Though family is her number one priority now, Cook has still found time to put herself out there and enjoys regularly spending time with her new boyfriend, Jordan.

Roe Pichardo (39): Pichardo is not just a lover of nightlife, but enjoys building her business around it, too. Dedicated to the hospitality industry, Pichardo spends most of her time focusing on building up her resume through work at her consulting company, Organized Chao Group.

Alaina Saulsberry (38): Saulsberry, like her friends in the tight-knit sisterhood, is taking over the business world as founder and CEO of Color du Jour—her own personal beauty company. Along with juggling the wins and losses that come with any business, Saulsberry is dedicating her time to preserving her marriage and spending time with her kids.
