Overnight crash kills Moundville juvenile
A 17-year-old from Moundville died in a crash overnight in Tuscaloosa County, according to state troopers.
The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Bradley Road, about three miles south of Tuscaloosa.
The victim was a passenger in a GMC Sierra that left the roadway and struck several trees, according to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The driver, a 17-year-old from Tuscaloosa, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, said Cpl. Reginal M. King, in the news release.
King said neither teen was wearing a seatbelt and both were ejected from the truck.
State troopers continue to investigate.
