Only 4 O’Charley’s left in Alabama after Prattville location suddenly closes

O’Charley’s now has four restaurants in Alabama after the closing of its Prattville location.

According to WSFA, the restaurant at 2301 Cobbs Ford Rd. closed Sept. 17, with a sign announcing the closure taped to a door on Monday.

“Emails also went out to O’Club members Monday morning informing them of the closure and saying any gift cards or other promotions could be redeemed at nearby locations,” The Montgomery Advertiser reported.

O’Charley’s CEO W. Craig Barber said in a statement that the decision to close was “based on a variety of industry challenges and the macro-economic environment.”

“We sincerely appreciate our loyal guests who have visited us at this location while also being deeply grateful for the outstanding work of our operating team,” Barber told the station.

Based in Nashville, the restaurant has locations in Daphne, Decatur, Foley and Fultondale, according to the website.

Restaurant Business in August reported the chain has closed more than 50 locations this year, including 18 in one day.
