Decatur police say one person was wounded by an officer Tuesday.

According to a police spokesperson, the incident happened at Westmead Pharmacy, 2104 Danville Road.

One suspect, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital to be treated for a single gunshot wound, police said.

No officers were injured in the incident.

Police describe the shooting as an isolated incident with no threat to the general public.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will be investigating.
