One person was seriously wounded Monday night in a shooting at a Huntsville apartment complex.

Capt. Jesse Sumlin said the incident happened at 5771 Oakwood Rd. at Ariza Oakwood Apartments.

Police arrived to find a victim, whose name was not released, with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries, Sumlin said.

No arrest has been made. Police are investigating.
