Huntsville police say one person received life-threatening injuries following a shooting near a gas station this morning.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 2990 Mastin Lake Road shortly before 6:30 a.m., according to a police spokesperson.

One person was transported to the hospital from the scene with life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
