An adult male died and a juvenile left seriously wounded after a shooting in Mobile Tuesday night.

Mobile police responded to a report of a shooting on Prairie Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Arriving at the scene, officers found the adult male dead in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.

Searching the area, police also located the male juvenile victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside a second vehicle.

The juvenile was transported to a local hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries.

The name of the adult victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
