One dead, two others injured in head-on collision on Dauphin Island Parkway
A 34-year-old man was killed and two women injured when their vehicles collided head-on on the Dauphin Island Parkway Tuesday night, according to Mobile police.
The accident occurred just before 10 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection with Sigler Avenue. Initial investigation indicates the two vehicles collided head-on in the northbound lane.
Brian Evans, 34, was driving one of the vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene. A 71-year-old woman was driving the other vehicle and she and her 73-year-old passenger were transported to a local hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details were released. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
