One person is dead following a Monday night crash, according to Huntsville police.

The single-vehicle crash happened at about 9:10 p.m. in the area of Sutton Road and U.S. 431.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Lionel Judson Halcomb Jr., 60.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating.
