One person is dead following single-vehicle crash in Bibb County on Monday.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the traffic accident occurred on Bibb County 1 at about 10:21 p.m.

A 2010 Toyota Camry driven by George Middlebrooks, 64, went off the roadway and struck a ditch before overturning.

Middlebrooks was taken to the Bibb Medical Center in Centreville but died after succumbing to his injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, according to ALEA.

The incident continues to be investigated by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
