3 Games with multiple TD receptions for Vanderbilt WR Will Sheppard this season. He’s one of two players in the nation who have done that, along with Charlotte WR Grant Dubose. Vanderbilt has won the three games in which Sheppard had two TD receptions and lost the two in which he did not. Sheppard has seven TD receptions in 2022.

5 Consecutive games with a 100-yard rusher for Ole Miss, the first time that has happened for the Rebels since 1999. Ole Miss leads the SEC with 1,123 rushing yards in 2022. RB Quinshon Judkins has three 100-yard games, RB Zach Evans has two and QB Jaxson Dart has one for Ole Miss. Vanderbilt has not allowed an opposing ball-carrier to reach 100 rushing yards this season.

6 6-0 records for Ole Miss during the SEC era, a mark the Rebels would own again if they defeat Vanderbilt. Ole Miss has won its first six games as an SEC member in 2014 and annually from 1958 through 1962.

10 Consecutive Vanderbilt seasons have included a loss in the Commodores’ first home conference game. Since Vanderbilt defeated Ole Miss 30-7 in its first home SEC game of 2011, the Commodores have opened their home conference slate with losses to Georgia and South Carolina three times apiece, Ole Miss twice and Alabama and LSU once apiece. The 2011 season also is the most recent one in which Vanderbilt did not lose its first two conference games.

10 Of Vanderbilt’s 15 victories against SEC West opponents since the conference divided into divisions in 1992 have come against Ole Miss. While Vanderbilt has a 10-20 record against Ole Miss in that span, the Commodores are 5-47 against the rest of the SEC West. Ole Miss has a 43-40 record against the SEC East.

That’s the fastest to 20 wins among the 12 coaches who have guided Ole Miss since Johnny Vaught’s final full season at the Rebels’ helm. Kiffin equaled Vaught with 20 victories in 28 games. Vaught had a 20-7-1 record in his first 28 games with Ole Miss starting in 1947. The fastest an Ole Miss coach has reached 20 victories is 24 games. Harry Mehre started his seven-year tenure with the Rebels with a 9-2 showing in 1938 followed by 7-2 in 1939 and four consecutive wins to open the 1940 season. Mehre had a 23-5 record after 28 games on his way to a 39-26-1 career mark at Ole Miss.

22 Consecutive SEC games have been lost by Vanderbilt. The Commodores have not beaten a conference opponent since topping Missouri 21-14 on Oct. 19, 2019. Of the five losing streaks of at least 22 conference games in SEC history, this is the fourth for Vanderbilt.

27 Years since the previous time that Vanderbilt played top-10 opponents back-to-back. The Commodores lost to No. 2 Alabama 55-3 in their previous game. In the final two games of its 1995 season, Vanderbilt lost to No. 3 Florida 38-7 and No. 5 Tennessee 12-7.

54 Victories for Ole Miss, 40 victories for Vanderbilt and two ties in the Rebels-Commodores series. Ole Miss has the lead in the series even though it lost the first 19 meetings with Vanderbilt. The official series record is 52-40-2 in Ole Miss’ favor because of vacated wins in 2013 and 2014. The teams have met annually since 1970.

993 Passing yards for Vanderbilt and 993 passing yards for Ole Miss’ opponents in the 2022 season. The Commodores have completed 81-of-137 passes, and Ole Miss’ opponents have completed 101-of-169 passes.
