Ohio murder suspect captured in Alabama
A man wanted for murder out of Ohio was taken into custody Thursday in Alabama.
Clarence Abdul Ellis, 28, was arrested at a home on Honeysuckle Road in Dothan.
Dothan police, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, ALEA and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force took the wanted fugitive into custody.
Ellis, police said, was wanted for murder in Columbus. Details of the alleged killing were not immediately available.
Ellis is being held without bond in the Houston County Jail pending extradition to Ohio.
