Body camera footage of a Nov. 27 incident in which Odell Beckham Jr. was removed from a commercial flight shows the former NFL receiver calling a fellow passenger “fat” and “ugly” after that passenger voiced his frustrations at Beckham.

The Miami-Dade Police Dept. released the footage this week that shows the moments leading to passengers leaving the airplane and Beckham being removed.

Flight attendants told officers Beckham was unresponsive, despite multiple attempts to wake him so he could put his seatbelt on.

“I’ve never had this happen to me,” Beckham said.

One passenger told the Beckham to just get off.

“You’re everything wrong with the world,” Beckham said. “Looking at me to get off a plane, for you. I would never, ever in my life get off the plane for you. Specifically you. Maybe everybody else, I would get off the plane.

“You gonna wait 40 minutes, and I’m going to be on a private plane home. Yeah, with your fat (expletive). Get your (expletive) off the plane for a second.

“Enjoy the cheese board on the way home with your ugly (expletive).”

“Fearing that Mr. Beckham was seriously ill, and that his condition would worsen through the expected 5 hour flight, (aircraft crew members) called for police and fire rescue,” Miami Dade Police Officer Luis Sierra said at the time.

“As they tried to wake (Beckham) to fasten his seat belt, he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness.”
