George Hill took the last of the more than 7,000 photos he shot of Elvis Presley inside the Mobile Civic Center during The King’s final performance in Alabama on June 2, 1977.

Hill’s return to the Civic Center last December was perfect timing. He joined the father-son documentary filmmaker duo of Michael and Jay Corwin on Dec. 18, to reflect on the last Presley concert he attended while discussing his time shooting pictures of the rock icon throughout the 1970s.
