Not into Hangout Fest? Here are some alternatives around the coast this week
If this weekend’s Hangout Fest isn’t your cup of tea, here are some events to try this week instead that are more educational, but still plenty of fun.
This week’s list includes an event with Ann Bedsole, the first Republican woman in the Alabama House of Representatives, and a hike through Graham Creek Nature Preserve.
Mobile Public Library exhibits
Two exhibits on display in the Mobile Public Library will open next week: A History of Jewish Life in Mobile, which opened on May 12 and will be open until June 23, and Americans and the Holocaust, which opens May 15 and runs until June 23 as well. Both will be on display in the Ben May Main Library.
The former will be on the second floor of the main library and will feature items that document the history of Jewish life in Mobile. For more information on this exhibit, email [email protected] or call (251) 340-1458.
