North Alabama under a wind advisory Monday and Tuesday
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday valid from Monday 3 p.m. until Tuesday 6 p.m. for Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Cullman counties.
The weather service says, “South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
