The National Weather Service released a heat advisory at 10:34 a.m. on Monday valid from Tuesday noon until Wednesday 7 p.m. for Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Cullman counties.

The weather service comments, “Heat index values up to 107 degrees expected.”

“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” states the weather service.
