Tuscumbia police are seeking information on a fatal hit-and-run crash.

On April 17 at around 8 p.m., a person was struck near the Microtel on Highway 72 in Tuscumbia, according to law enforcement. The victim died from his injuries.

Police said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene traveling west on Highway 72. The vehicle was identified as a red 2005-2009 Ford Mustang. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Tuscumbia Police Department at 256-383-3121.
