The Marshall County Coroner’s Office today announced that one man was killed in a residential fire Sunday.

The incident happened in the Center Road/Butler Mill Road area of Woodville.

A man found inside the residence was pronounced dead on the scene.

The body was taken to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for examination.

The victim’s name will be released once his identity is confirmed.

The Alabama Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire’s cause.
