A Decatur man has been arrested on charges of child sexual abuse.

Decatur police say Fulgencio Moguel, 35, turned himself into police on March 13, and is being held on a $30,000 bond.

Police began an investigation in February into a report of sexual abuse involving a child under the age of 12.

The results were presented to a Morgan County grand jury which returned an indictment.

Investigators say Moguel was a family friend.
