A north Alabama man was arrested and charged with 130 counts of possessing child pornography after authorities acting on a tip arrested him Tuesday.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force tipped off investigators with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office about child pornography that led deputies to execute a search warrant Tuesday in Gaylesville, said Sheriff Jeff Shaver.
Deputies learned 28-year-old Gaylesville resident Justin Glenn Freeman had child pornography and charged him with 130 counts of possessing child porn, Shaver said.
Freeman, who was taken to the Cherokee County jail,, was also charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, the sheriff said.
