Do you know an Alabama woman who is constantly working to make the state a better place to live? This is Alabama would love for you to nominate her for our next class of Women Who Shape the State 2024.

For more than a decade, This is Alabama has been celebrating women who are changemakers in their communities. We’ve honored hundreds of women over the years, including educators, business leaders, healthcare heroes, philanthropists, artists, CEOs, authors and scientists. We can’t wait to celebrate another fantastic group of women in 2024.

Here’s what to do: We need you to fill out a nomination form here. Please tell us as much as possible about the nominee – we want to hear it all! Make sure to fill that out by September 22nd.

Next, a panel of judges will choose the next class of distinguished women, and they’ll be recognized on This is Alabama and at a luncheon next year.
