‘No one f—s with a Biden,’ president tells Florida mayor

President Joe Biden’s conversation with a Florida mayor was caught on a hot mic Wednesday.

Biden was in Florida to survey Hurricane Ian damage and just held a news conference with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Biden was in a conversation with Fort Myers Beach Mayor Ray Murphy.

“You were raised the same way I was,” Biden told the mayor.

“I was, I was,” Murphy said.

He can be heard saying, “No one f—s with a Biden.”

The mayor responds, “You’re goddamn right!”

Biden then says, “You can’t argue with your brother outside the house.” The mayor replies, “That’s exactly right.”

Just last week, Biden made headlines for another comment.

On Sept. 28, he publicly asked about the whereabouts of the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.), despite the fact that he publicly mourned her death and called her family to offer condolences eight weeks prior.

On Wednesday, Biden surveyed the devastation of hurricane-ravaged Florida, promising to marshal the power of the federal government to help rebuild. Biden comforted local residents alongside DeSantis, a potential 2024 foe.

Biden praised DeSantis’ handling of the storm recovery as both men — who have battled over pandemic protocols and migration as the governor mulls a presidential bid — put aside politics for a few days. The state is struggling to recover from the wreckage of Hurricane Ian, which tore through southwestern Florida last week and left dozens dead.

“Today we have one job and only one job, and that’s to make sure the people in Florida get everything they need to fully, thoroughly recover,” Biden said.

“It’s going to take a hell of a long time, hopefully without any snags in the way. Later, after the television cameras have moved on, we’re still going to be here with you.”
