No. 25 Auburn volleyball sweeps No. 9 Florida for first win ever in Gainesville

In what is already one of the best starts to a season in program history, the No. 25 ranked Auburn volleyball picked up its signature win, beating No. 9 Florida in Gainesville — the first win ever in Gainesville for Auburn.

And the win came in dominant fashion, sweeping Florida in three sets.

Auburn nearly beat Florida in Neville Arena in front of the largest crowds ever at the arena for a volleyball match in late September. Auburn led the match after three sets, but ultimately lost in the fifth set.

Auburn is now 13-3 overall this season and 3-2 in the SEC. Its next match is at 3 p.m. Sunday at South Carolina. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
