Montgomery Catholic turned the tables on Central of Clay County, changing its offense in the second half to reflect a punishing run-heavy attack.

Safety Jo Pierce, who came into the game with 13 carries in Wildcat formation this season, ran the ball 16 times for 94 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Knights defeated the Volunteers 21-9 in the AHSAA 5A quarterfinals at Faulkner University’s John Mark Stallings Field.
