After forcing Vincent (4-1, 2-1) to punt on the game’s opening possession, Harvey scored on a 5-yard run. He then connected with wideout Dearian Riley on a 30-yard touchdown pass. The senior quarterback added another 5-yard scamper and finished the first-half scoring with a 24-yard touchdown strike to Richard Weed.

Harris, who finished with 11 rushes for 141 yards, broke a 47-yard run to open the second half. Harris capped the drive on 12-yard scoring run.

The Tiger defense, which was led by Harris’ 11 tackles and one pass break up, intercepted two Yellow Jacket passes in the second half to secure the shutout.

Game balls: Harris was a key on both sides of the ball, while Harvey ignited the offense.

Coachspeak: “We were able to come out here and perform,” B.B. Comer head coach Adam Fossett said. ”We scored on every possession in the first half and kept a team scoring 50 points a game off of the scoreboard. It is a tribute to our 12 seniors that took care of business.”

They Said It: “We had some good drives,” said Vincent head football coach Lucas Weatherford. “We couldn’t convert first downs when we needed them. That’s a pretty good football team that beat us. “We have to go back to work and finish the season strong.”
