Nico Iamaleava’s brother leaving SEC school for transfer portal, reports say
The “other” Iamaleava quarterback brother is also apparently leaving the SEC.
Madden Iamaleava — younger brother to former Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava — plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple reports. A true freshman, Madden Iamaleava spent this past spring at Arkansas.
A four-star recruit out of Long Beach (Calif.) Poly High School in the 2025 class, Madden Iamaleava has four years of eligibility remaining. He was originally committed to UCLA before signing with the Razorbacks in December.
The SEC does not allow intra-conference transfers during the spring portal window, which runs through Friday. It’s possible Madden Iamaleava will return home to join Nico, who signed with UCLA on Sunday after his highly publicized exit from Tennessee.
