Nick Saban’s reaction to penalty nullifying Jalen Milroe’s TD says it all

Nick Saban looked as frustrated as the rest of those in attendance of the Alabama game Saturday night on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The former Alabama coach made his way to the sideline late in the second quarter in preparation for a halftime ceremony in his honor.

At about the same time, Alabama was leading 14-6. Jalen Milroe took off for a 74-yard touchdown, but it was called back due to a holding penalty.

Alabama football coach Nick Saban would have exploded. Instead, retired Alabama football coach Nick Saban looked on like a disapproving father.

The Tide’s lackluster performance in the first half against South Florida has been hampered by ill-timed penalties. Alabama has been flagged for eight penalties for 60 yards, but no bigger than the one that nullified the touchdown run.
