In one of the lighter moments of his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Nick Saban found another mutual love with the host: Cars.
McAfee noted is a car guy, though, not the type of cars Saban dabbles in. Last year, the Alabama coach became part of the ownership group of Prancing Horse of Nashville, a 43,400-square-foot showroom for a Ferrari dealership, one of only 60 in the world.
“Just one,” Saban said when he was asked if he had a couple of Ferraris. “We had two, but we traded two for one we wanted, which is the way it works with Ferrari.”
McAfee marveled at the “West Virginia boy rolling around in a Ferrari being called the GOAT.”
Saban laughed and wanted to remind people it wasn’t always like this.
“I want everybody to know I started in a pickup truck – and orange one …,” he said. “A lot of things that I learned about accountability came from that pickup truck.”e

Back in 2018, Saban became part of a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Birmingham.
