NFL Week 13 player prop betting odds: Best bets for Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, and Jahmyr Gibbs
Jalen Hurts under 1.5 passing touchdowns (-125 or better)
The Eagles host the 49ers at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon in what’s shaping up to be one of the top games of the year. When Philadelphia beat San Francisco in last season’s NFC Championship, Hurts had a rough game, completing 60% of his throws for 121 yards.
The 49ers seek revenge and have a stout passing defense that allows 213 yards per game. San Fran’s 33 sacks are the 10th most in the NFL, and the unit has been buzzing since the Week 9 bye.
The addition of Chase Young has formed an unblockable edge-rushing duo with Nick Bosa. Meanwhile, Geno Smith and Trevor Lawrence averaged 182 yards, combining for zero touchdowns and three interceptions in recent weeks vs. the 49ers.
Tua Tagovailoa over 280.5 passing yards (-115 or better)
Miami is set to square off with the Commanders, who have won a single game over the previous six weeks. Washington is one of the worst teams in the league against the pass, and things have only gotten worse since trading away Montez Sweat and Young.
In the Commanders’ last three games, Smith, Tommy DeVito, and Dak Prescott averaged 318 yards, three touchdowns, and zero picks. Washington’s season has taken a swift nose-dive, which doesn’t bode well against the NFL’s second-highest-scoring offense.
Tua wasn’t at his best on Black Friday against the Jets, tallying 243 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. A matchup with the drowning Commanders is the perfect spot to get back on track.
Jahmyr Gibbs over 75.5 rushing and receiving yards (-115 or better)
Lions fans finally had a Thanksgiving game to look forward to when 8-2 Detroit welcomed the Packers to Ford Field. Green Bay shocked Michiganders with a 29-22 upset victory, and Detroit now travels to New Orleans looking to avoid back-to-back losses games for the first time this season.
Gibbs’ production was up and down at the beginning of the year, but as he’s continued getting acclimated to the pros, he’s becoming more reliable. The Saints have a top-tier pass defense and are weak against the run, allowing 124 yards per game.
Watch for Gibbs, who is a few weeks removed from a 152-yard rushing performance vs. the Raiders, to have a productive day out of the backfield.
