New reward announced on 23rd birthday of missing Alabama man who vanished in 2020
Authorities have increased the reward money for information in the disappearance of a Talladega man more than four years ago.
The reward increase was announced Thursday on Stacey Lynch’s 23rd birthday.
Lynch, who was 19 at the time he vanished, was last seen leaving his residence at Knoxville Homes Apartments in Talladega on Dec. 22, 2020.
He was never heard from again, and his family said it was uncharacteristic of Lynch to be out of touch with his loved ones. He left behind young children.
According to The Charley Project, a vehicle believed to be connected to his case was found abandoned and burned.
Lynch has multiple tattoos, including on his face, on the front of his neck, on his forearm, and on his abdomen. The abdomen tattoo is an image of a gun.
Central Alabama Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 cash reward for information on Lynch’s whereabouts.
Anyone with information is asked to call Central Alabama Crime Stoppers at 334-215-STOP (7867) or 1-833-AL1-STOP (833-251-7867).
