New ‘Long Way Home’ docuseries premieres on Apple TV+: How to stream on-demand
The brand new docuseries Long Way Home releases on Apple TV+ Friday, May 9.
Long Way Home, starring best friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, follows the duo as they gear up for their fourth Long Way series—this time going from McGregor’s home in Scotland to Boorman’s in England.
In true Long Way fashion, the pair will take the scenic route through 17 European countries on their cranky old bikes.
Who are Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman?
For those unfamiliar with the duo, McGregor is a British actor while Boorman is known far and wide as a television personality and presenter. Throughout the years, the friends have captured their motorcycle travel adventures in the Long Way series, one of the most popular being Long Way Round.
The upcoming docuseries is slated to have four episodes, all of which will be released on Friday, May 9. The series is exclusive to Apple TV+, so those hoping to catch McGregor and Boorman on their next joint adventure will need to sign up for an Apple TV+ subscription.
Luckily for new subscribers, Apple TV+ has a 7-day free trial to enjoy before committing to a paid subscription. Once the free trial expires, subscribers pay just $9.99 a month for continued access to the popular streaming service.

Where can I watch more of the Long Way franchise?
Those interested in checking out more of the pair’s adventures can catch Long Way Down and Long Way Round on Apple TV+.
Long Way Round kicked off the franchise and showcases McGregor and Boorman embarking on an epic challenge to bike 20,000 miles across 12 countries and 19 time zones in just 115 days back in 2004. In the first chapter of the Long Way series, the best friends realized their dream—against all odds.
Long Way Down is the second installment of the franchise and features the friends travelling 15,000 miles from the northernmost tip of Scotland to the southernmost tip of South Africa.
