A second campus of Church of the Highlands is currently under construction in Huntsville.

The church off Whitesburg Drive complements the existing Huntsville campus that opened in July 2019 at 330 Nance Road.

The Birmingham-based church, Alabama’s largest church, now has 25 branch locations across the state and in Georgia.

The church is headquartered on Grants Mill Road in Irondale, with founding Pastor Chris Hodges streaming his weekly sermons by video to branches from Huntsville to Mobile and Tuscaloosa to Columbus and Newnan, Ga.

The existing 1,513-seat sanctuary in Huntsville currently hosts four Sunday services, at 8 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
