NERF-themed action park opening next year in popular tourist destination
Visitors to Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Will soon be able to add another activity to their list.
The NERF Action Xperience, billed as an “expansive active play center” is set to open on Pigeon Fore Parkway in the fall of 2024, according to a release from Kingsmen Xperience, Inc, and Hasbro. The 29,000-square-foot center will feature blaster battle zones, sports challenges, an obstacle course, food and beverage areas and a retail store.
“For over 50 years, NERF has been committed to encouraging social active play, and we can’t think of a better way to bring this to life for our fans than opening this new NERF Action Xperience location,” Matt Proulx, Vice President of Location Based Entertainment at Hasbro, said in a statement.
Developers said the action park is designed for kids and young adults, as well as offering activities for corporate events, parties and team-building experiences.
The Tennessee location will be the second NERF action park in the U.S. The first, planned for Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, is set to open later this year.
