The Baldwin County Commission will soon consider whether to rezone around 19 acres of land outside of Daphne for a potential subdivision, which neighbors say will strain the already dangerous traffic conditions.

“Rigsby Road is very dangerous,” Kathy Starkey, a nearby resident who represented Beau Chene Estates, a subdivision north of the property, said during the meeting. “We had a community member that died yesterday in a traffic incident at Rigsby and 181.”
