The third night of the NCAA baseball Tuscaloosa Regional will start a little late Sunday. Rain dumped on Sewell-Thomas Stadium approximately 45 minutes before the 8 p.m. CT scheduled first pitch.

As of 8:04 p.m., the tarp remained on the infield as the ground crew began work so Alabama could face Boston College. The Crimson Tide could secure the regional with a win while Boston College needs to beat Alabama twice to advance.
