Nate Oats, Charles Barkley, social media react to No. 15 Robert Morris giving Alabama fits

Nate Oats pointed to two main concerns at halftime of No. 2 seed Alabama’s 40-36 lead over No. 15 seed Robert Morris in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

“We got to get some stops,” the Alabama coach told the Crimson Tide Sports Network, per 247 Sports. “I mean, it seems like every loose ball — they’re killing us on the O-boards, the loose balls.

“We got to get some stops and we can’t let the frustration of the calls or whatever get to us. We just got to keep moving the ball on offense.”

Meanwhile, Charles Barkley pointed to Grant Nelson not playing as being a factor.

“Nelson being out changes the whole dynamic of their team,” he said at halftime. “It changes for (Mark) Sears also. The floor is shrinking. …

“It hurts them in rebounding, but it also hurts them because it is shrinking the floor.”

Social media has certainly taken notice of the potential upset alter as well.
