Nashville rape suspect captured in Huntsville
A man wanted by Nashville police on three rape charges was arrested yesterday in Madison County.
According to jail records, Carlos Ruben Rodriguez, 60, is being held without bond in the Madison County Jail as a fugitive from justice. He is due to be extradited back to Tennessee.
WKRN in Nashville is reporting that the Madison County Sheriff’s Office was contacted Wednesday by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department about Rodriguez.
Officers went to Lark Road in New Market and encountered Rodriguez’s wife, who told them he was at work.
When deputies saw the woman leave later, headed for Huntsville, they followed and found Rodriguez. He was arrested yesterday afternoon.
