NASA announced today its four-astronaut crew for Artemis II, the second mission of NASA’s Artemis program to return to the moon. It is planned to launch in November 2024.

Mission Commander Reid Wiseman and astronauts Cristina Koch, Jeremy Hansen and Victor Glover will be aboard the capsule for a series of maneuvers that will test the Orion capsule before the third mission with its lunar landing.

The crew will test the capsule’s communications and fly a group of CubSats and other secondary payloads on the mission.
