Multiple people were injured in a wreck involving a school bus Tuesday afternoon in Mobile County, authorities said.

Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said troopers are on the scene of the wreck around 4 p.m. Tuesday on Snow Road near Wedgefield Boulevard.

Thompson did not immediately know whether the injured victims included children on the bus, but said “a few injuries” were reported.

WKRG reported that seven children on the bus from Collier Elementary School were taken to the hospital.

Mobile County Schools could not immediately be reached for comment, and the Seven Hills Volunteer Fire District, which also responded to the scene with ALEA, did not immediately return a request for comment.
