Motorcyclist killed in weekend crash with UPS truck in Fultondale

A motorcyclist was killed in a weekend collision with a UPS truck in Fultondale.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Frederick Alexander DeLeon. He was 31 and lived in Gardendale.

The crash happened at 8:49 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Decatur Highway.

DeLeon was pronounced dead on the scene at 8:53 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing by the Fultondale Police Department with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
