A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday in Montgomery County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim of Randall E. Tennyson. He was 43 and lived in Montgomery.

The crash happened on U.S. 80, about three miles east of Montgomery.

Authorities said Tennyson was operating a Kawaski Ninja motorcycle that left the road and struck a guardrail. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
