Motorcyclist dies following weekend crash in St. Clair County
A 52-year-old motorcyclist has died following a weekend crash in St. Clair County.
Alabama State Troopers on Wednesday identified the fatality victim as Jamie L. Hannah. He lived in Ragland.
The wreck happened at 11:45 a.m. Sunday on Alabama 144 near Morgan Bridge Road. That location is about six miles west of Ragland.
Authorities said Hannah was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he was struck by a Kia Forte driven by a 16-year-old. The impact caused Hannah to be thrown from the motorcycle.
Hannah was airlifted to UAB Hospital where he died Monday.
The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
