A Prattville man was killed Memorial Day when his motorcycle was struck by a tractor-trailer truck.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as David R. Carr. He was 62.

The crash happened at 1:13 p.m. Monday on Alabama 14, about two miles west of Prattville in Autauga County.

Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson said Carr was driving a Honda FCS600A Silver Wing motorcycle that was struck by a Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by 24-year-old Cameron J. Jarman of Crenshaw County.

Carr was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by troopers.
