Morgan Wallen to headline 2024 Gulf Coast Jam, after cancelling in ‘23

Morgan Wallen won’t be at the 2023 Gulf Coast Jam taking place this weekend, but organizers say he’ll be back as a headliner of the 2024 event.

The Jam, a sold-out country fest in Panama City Beach, was among the appearances that Wallen canceled in early May, saying doctors had told him his voice would suffer permanent damage if he didn’t take a break. Festival organizers bounced back quickly, announcing that Kenny Chesney would step in to fill the lineup gap.

Thursday evening, just before the opening-day headline performance by HARDY, festival organizers Rendy Lovelady and Mark Sheldon announced from the stage that Wallen had been confirmed as one of next year’s top acts. The 2024 fest takes place May 30 through June 2, and Wallen will headline on Sunday, June 2.

“As we said last year, Morgan Wallen is one of the most requested headliners we have ever had in the history of Gulf Coast Jam, and his star is continuing to shine even brighter,” said Lovelady, the festival’s executive producer. “We’ve been working feverishly with Morgan and his team over the last three weeks to figure out a way to get him down here next year, and we’re happy to announce he is locked for 2024!”

Tickets for the 2024 festival are available now at www.gulfcoastjam.com. Additional headliners and the full lineup will be announced in coming weeks, according to organizers.
