Morgan County EMA Director Brandy Davis is no longer head of the agency after she was “let go” due to a “personnel matter,” according to the chairman of the county commissionand the EMA’s website.

Davis’ LinkedIn page lists her as the former director of the Morgan County EMA, while the agency’s website says the director position is vacant. Jennifer Hempfling is listed as the acting director.

Morgan County Commission Chairman Ray Long said Davis was “let go” on Monday due to a “personnel matter,” WHNT reported.

Long added Davis was appealing the decision.

Davis had been EMA director since July 2020.
