More than 2 million cases of doughnuts recalled due to potential listeria contamination
Indiana-based food producer FGF Brands has voluntarily recalled 60 doughnut products sold in grocery stores, impacting more than 2 million cases of pastries sold across the U.S. and Canada.
The products were sold in retailers under various brand names, including Dunkin’ and GEN Bake. A report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration says 2,017,614 cases of products are part of the recall, including yeast rings, apple fritters and cake doughnuts. The products were recalled due to possible listeria contamination.
The recall was initiated on Jan. 7 and designated as a Class II recall by the FDA on Feb. 5. The recall impacts all products produced on or before Dec. 13, 2024. The full list of recalled products is available here.
