Montgomery teen dies in Wednesday shooting; tips sought
A 17-year-old boy died after he was shot late Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery, police said.
Police and fire medics responded to the 2100 block of Rexford Road around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a person shot, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
At the scene, officers found the victim, only identified as a 17-year-old Montgomery boy.
The teen sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound, said Coleman.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
