Montgomery police officer charged with domestic violence, assault with bodily fluids

A Montgomery police officer is on leave following his arrest on two criminal charges.

Officer Justin Davis, 27, is charged with third-degree domestic violence assault and assault with body fluids, said Montgomery police Maj. Saba Coleman.

Coleman did not say when Davis was arrested or release details of the allegations against him. Court records in his case were not immediately available.

Coleman said Davis was placed on administrative leave on Tuesday.

Davis, who joined the force in 2019, was assigned to the patrol division.
